Built by engineers who understand the problem.

Our Mission

Pacific was founded by two aerospace engineers who saw the same problem from different angles: AI is failing in the organisations that need it most. In aerospace and finance, data is sensitive, knowledge is siloed, and no system understands how the organisation actually operates. AI gets deployed without context and fails quietly. Pacific exists to fix that.

CEO & Co-Founder

Harper Dammann-Smith

Serial founder, aerospace engineer, and ocean conservationist. Before Pacific, Harper built and deployed AI systems across superyacht brokerage, private equity, and financial services, and saw firsthand how even the best AI falls apart without deep organisational understanding. He founded one of the UK's largest student startup accelerators (80+ founders, 2 YC companies) and has worked with organisations ranging from early-stage startups to HSBC and EY. Harper dropped out of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bath to build Pacific full time.

CTO & Co-Founder

Ralph Heward-Mills

Senior Thermal Engineer from Airbus with mission experience across NASA and ESA programmes. Ralph spent years modelling energy moving through complex networks in environments where data security is non-negotiable. That same engineering now underpins Pacific's knowledge graph architecture. He left Airbus to co-found Pacific and will join the University of Cambridge in October 2026 for the inaugural MPhil in Digital Policy at the Bennett School of Public Policy.
